The S Trap – normally with a twist joint half way. The S trap is easily removed without disturbing the waste pipework if it is required to remove a blockage. The socket can be corrected via something like 270° from the horizontal plane to accommodate the position of the vertical waste pipe attached to it. Like the P trap, the S trap also requires a good amount of space around the waste outlet.
