+Deep flow gutter systems are the perfect solution if you’re working with a roof that’s particularly large, heavily angled, or channelling rainwater into a short piece of gutter. In situations like these, standard half round, square-line or ogee gutters can overflow – but deep flow systems will cope with the increased load.

What is a deepflow running outlet?

A Deep-flow running outlet is designed to connect your gutter to your downpipe. It’s usually the first part of the system that you’ll put up when you install your guttering – and the runs will be angled slightly towards it – creating the fall needed to drain the rainwater into the downpipe.

Available in black or white, these running outlets require no additional brackets or support – as they have the required mounting points to fix them directly to the fascia boards.

Installing your outlet

Since the outlet is the first plastic guttering component to go up when you fit guttering, the rest of the rainwater system will work around your this initial part.

As such, you can mount it exactly where it’s needed – and, if possible, this is generally over the property’s ground-level drain. You can use a plumb bob to make sure it’s perfectly positioned over the drain – which means a straight run of downpipe to carry the rain away.

Of course, if this isn’t possible, then it’s no problem – get close – then use angles and branches to work your way across the house, avoiding obstacles, and take your stack to the underground drainage.
