Our excellent range of hoppers is designed to deliver surface water into the drainage system. Their key role is to remove surface water from gathering and to remove any wastewater from alternative outlets and flow pipes directed towards them. From here it is passed into the underground drainage system, leaving the area dry and free from surface water pooling. These drains feature square or rectangular hoppers and include the option of additional entry points into the 110mm drainage pipes or sewer outlet.

Manufactured from robust PVC plastic, they are supplied in the traditional brown colour associated with drain and sewerage products, with a simple and attractive black plastic grill/cover. Their robust construction will provide an incredibly long lifespan, straightforward installation and reliable operation.

The introduction of plastic drains over the old traditional cast iron grates and grills has simplified the manufacturing process and introduced much more cost-effective options. Also, plastic offers a much more lightweight product over its much heavier cast iron counterpart. Another obvious advantage is plastic will operate without corrosion and a need for refinishing and painting, as cast iron options would over time.

The top grill, or grid, is removable, which makes access and clearing any debris incredibly easy. Access for both hand removal and rodding is simple with this easy access component. The dual operation option features a handy additional grill that can be removed to allow drain or downpipe inclusion.
