Get Cast Iron Down Pipe Socket With / Without Ears
A round downpipe socket is used to connect 2 drain water pipes vertically. This option is ideal for your cast iron installations, repairs or drainage system additions.
We supply our round downpipe sockets with or without ears for mounting to the building wall. The ears provide an additional level of stability and support.
The wider opening provides ingress for the higher cast iron downpipe, with the smaller exit pipe entering the lower downpipe to complete the join.
Made from this most robust material and finished with a hardwearing paint system, you will achieve a lifetime of service from this or any of our cast iron guttering products. Each of these drainage components complies with British Standards. These pipe sockets conform to the BS 460:1964 Cast Iron Rainwater Goods so you can be guaranteed of a long life and simple integration into existing systems following the same industry standard.
Cast iron guttering is widely accepted as the traditional material for historic and period installations. It is accepted as the ideal in situations where planning permission dictates classic materials to uphold the style and integrity of the build or area, over more modern UPVC plastics.
This traditional material is widely recycled, providing an environmentally sound footprint for installations where ecological considerations are valued.
