Enduramaxx Rainwater Harvesting Kits are the efficient way to conserve rainwater, reduce your water bills, and make a positive environmental impact available in three distinct models: Kit A, Kit B, and Kit C, each designed to cater to different roof sizes and requirements.
Enduramaxx Rainwater Harvesting Kit A:
- Garden Filter Unit
- Siphon Overflow
- Calmed Inlet
- Filter Basket
Perfect for smaller premises, the Kit A is your go-to solution for roof areas up to a maximum of 200 square metres per kit. This kit is the ideal companion to the Enduramaxx Rainwater Harvesting Water Tank range, offering a seamless rainwater filtering system comprised of a garden filter unit, siphon overflow, and calmed inlet. The kit’s total retention rainwater filter with an integrated dirt collecting basket ensures clear, usable water for garden watering, especially where no sewer connection exists. The easily removable filter basket simplifies maintenance, while the siphon overflow with skimming inlet and calmed inlet technology ensures the harvested water remains clear of debris and sediment, promoting a healthier water supply.
Enduramaxx Rainwater Harvesting Kit B:
Kit B includes:
- Two Stage Rainwater Filter Unit
- Siphon Overflow
- Calmed Inlet
Stepping up to medium-sized premises, Kit B is designed for roof sizes up to a maximum of 450 square metres per kit. This model introduces a two-step cleaning system independent of the flow rate, ensuring high filtering efficiency. The filter cartridge location aids in the continuous removal of dirt, making it a self-cleaning, low-maintenance solution. Similar to Kit A, it comes with a siphon overflow with skimming inlet and calmed inlet technology, ensuring the quality of stored water while reducing maintenance efforts.
Enduramaxx Rainwater Harvesting Kit C:
Kit A includes:
- Two Stage Rainwater Filter Unit
- Siphon Overflow
- Calmed Inlet
For larger premises with roof sizes up to a maximum of 800 square metres per kit, Kit C is your robust solution for effective rainwater harvesting. This kit can be installed in a pilot shaft or against the wall in frost-protected areas, offering flexibility in installation. It also features a two-step cleaning system independent of flow rate for high filtering efficiency. The filter cartridge location assists in the continuous removal of dirt, ensuring your water remains clear and usable. Like the other kits, it includes a siphon overflow with skimming inlet and calmed inlet technology to maintain the quality of stored water.
Installation Instructions:
For Kit A:
- Position your tank and decide the placement of the filter in relation to the current pipework on your building.
- Ensure a shallow incline for the pipes entering the filter to allow water to flow over the weir within the filter.
- Choose whether to use the hole from the screw lid on the water tank or to drill a purpose-made hole to the side of the screw lid.
- Drill a 4” round hole at your chosen point.
- Insert the drainage pipe through the hole, attaching the calmed inlet on the end of the pipe.
- Lower the pipe until the calmed inlet touches the base of the tank, then insert the filter unit onto the top of the pipe.
- For the siphon tube, drill a 4” hole as high as possible on the tank wall, insert the siphon tube from the inside, and tighten up from outside the tank using the provided nut.
- Seal around where any pipe and fittings exit the tank using silicone.
For Kits B and C:
- Installation is similar to Kit A, with the main difference being the two-step cleaning system. Ensure that the water flows across the first cascade to remove large debris particles.
- Pre-filtered water should then flow over the secondary sieve filter where the mesh structure diverts any remaining debris.
- Ensure that the cleaned water flows into the tank via a calmed inlet, minimising turbulence and not disturbing any sediment at the bottom of the tank.
Other components required when installing this system include soil pipe and industrial guttering systems. Please note, these kits are delivered directly from the manufacturer with a 5-7 day lead time, these products are not eligible for free shipping.
