This 110mm underground drainage socket plug can be used as a temporary or permanent cap for any unused socket, that are on underground drainage fittings.

Ensure that the correct lubrication has been applied around the socket or seal of the drainage PVC pipe before insertion, using either a silicon spray or a gel lubricant. This will protect the seal from damage, which could cause problems with fitting and fail to provide the protection required.

A drainage plug can be used for a variety of applications, however, they should never be used to cap vent pipes. Capping off ventilation pipes will create pressure imbalances that will affect the drainage system and inevitably lead it to fail.

Manufactured from hardwearing uPVC, and supplied in the traditional brown/orange colour, these socket plugs will match well and integrate into an existing system or as part of a new installation, above or below ground. With a 110mm diameter, the plugs conform to the British Standards kitemark of BS-EN1401 – and with that, will fit into any project using the same standard components.
