110mm push fit soil blanking plugs (sometimes known as blanking caps or soil pipe caps) allow the installer to safely “cap off” a socket from another unused soil pipe or fitting.

Fitting

Fitting a blanking plug couldn’t be easier. The plug simply pushes into the socket on the fitting you’re looking to blank off. There’s no need for any solvent weld – so they’re perfect for capping off a section of your stack while you carry out repair work elsewhere.

If you’re capping off the socket permanently, the push fit nature of the plug will hold perfectly. Then again, if you’re just using the plug to cap a socket temporarily, you can remove it and refit the 110mm pipe you’re working with in seconds.

If the socket you’re hoping to blank proves to be tight, a silicone lubricant will making fitting easier – but without compromising the watertight nature of the connection.
