What is a multi-juction?

As with many land drainage parts – the product name does a good job of explaining exactly what the part does! A multi-junction (sometimes called a multi Y junction) allows you to connect two runs of perforated land underground pipe – and, thanks to the range of diameters that can be achieved – actually allows you to bring together pipes of different diameters.

The junction itself is not perforated – which means you can use it in a variety of orientations.

How do you adapt the junction for different size pipes?

The junction is pre-cut to accept 60mm drain pipes – but using it for 60mm, 80mm or 100mm pipes is quick and easy.

You’ll need a sturdy hacksaw as the junction is well-made and constructed out of tough PVC – but you’ll be able to quickly open the ends up to allow connections to the pipes you’re working with.
